The space
Your Camp Suite has been a cherished part of summer camp traditions since the 1930s. Today, the Camp Suites have been thoughtfully updated and modernized to meet the needs of contemporary living, while still preserving their nostalgic charm. Owner Todd Leoni, once a camper himself, fell in love with this special place as a child. When the opportunity arose, he purchased the lake and the surrounding property to preserve the memories he and so many others had made here. Now, he invites you to create your own unforgettable memories in a place that has brought joy to generations.
Guest access
There is a parking lot behind the camp suites. No assigned spots, so park where you like. If no parking spots are available you can park in front on the driveway. Just allow for a car to get by. The fire pit, hammock, corn hole, gas grills, picnic tables and seating in the common area is shared with other guests. The dock and water toys are also shared and are available April 1-Oct 31. Fishing is allowed. License required.
Other details
The Camp suites are all attached so you may hear your neighbors in the room next door. Not all floors are level and not all flooring matches. The kitchenette is part of the open plan room and has a plug in 2 plate burner, microwave, under counter fridge, coffee pot and toaster. The only door that closes off is to the bathroom. Most lights and fans are on a pull chain. The cabins are rustic with the original wood and fixtures. “Feels like camp” is our motto so come with camp-like expectations!!

Had a very nice stay at Mountain Lake Cottages. Despite a full day of rain, I was able to get out on my paddle board in the morning and evening. Michele was very helpful answering questions and providing excellent service. We plan to return.

My second visit to these beautiful cottages around the lake with family from many parts of the United States. We had a wonderful time, enjoying the lake, enjoying the cottages, the peacefulness and the beauty of Hendersonville. We recommend this lovely setting to anybody who wants to get away from commercial franchise types of properties. There are so many things to do in the surrounding area to get back to nature, as well as to try great breweries and restaurants and restaurants. Most of all being so close with nature in a calm and beautiful place as what the mountain cottages bring to you.

Came for a small family reunion + had a wonderful time. We really felt like camp hanging with the other guests. The Kids couldn’t stay out of the lake! We will surely be back!

10/10. Only 1.5 miles from grocery stores but still seems like you’re in the middle of no where. Best of both worlds. Feels like you’re at summer camp as a kid. No motor boats allowed on the lake so the BEST paddle boarding. The beach is incredible. Michelle is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this location. You get to know all the other cabins. It’s really just a fabulous experience and a fantastic value. Secretly, I hope that nobody finds out about this place …🙃

We had a wonderful weekend at Mountain Lake Inn for a family reunion. The cottages were perfect for our extended family allowing everyone to have their own rooms/kitchen yet be very close to each other and gather around the courtyard/bbq area/fire pit. We enjoyed the peaceful view and walks around the lake. Highly recommend!

This is my husband and my second trip to Leoni's Mountain Lake Inn. The rooms are affordable and they are tucked away in the quiet mountains far away from work and traffic. It's close to a Fresh Market, shopping, quality restaurants and Osceola Lake. This is a must for family and couple retreats.

Mountain Lake Cottages
The owner of Osceola Lake, Todd Leoni, went to camp as a boy and loved the experience so much that he dreamed of owning it some day. Well, dreams do come true. In 1990, Todd purchased the 32 acre lake and in 2006 the Mountain Lake Inn with eleven camp suites surrounding the property. Every year, Todd enjoys the Mountain Lake Inn as his summer retreat with his family.
